Privacy policy

This draft describes the data handling visible in the current coupleSynestry app. Details that require operator and service-provider confirmation remain under review.

Information used by the app

Account access. The app uses Firebase Authentication for email and password, Google, or Apple sign-in. Sign-in details are handled by that service as part of account access.

Profiles and compatibility readings. The app uses the profile details you enter to calculate its compatibility dimensions. Analysis history is stored on your device using SharedPreferences. The app can also keep sign-in state and preferences locally.

WhatsApp text scan. If you choose a WhatsApp text export, the app parses and analyzes the text on your device. This scan is separate from AI report generation.

Optional AI report. The app can send report context through Firebase AI Logic to Google Gemini only after you choose the AI report and provide consent in the app. The current draft does not make claims about Google’s retention or processing periods; those details need review before publication.

Choices and account controls

You can choose whether to request the optional AI report. You can clear analysis history in the app’s settings. To delete an account, open the Account page in the app, choose Delete account, and confirm. The current deletion flow deletes the Firebase Authentication account and clears that account’s analysis history stored on this device. If the app requests a recent sign-in, authenticate again and retry.

Deletion does not recall exports or copies you previously shared, and this flow does not confirm that copies on other devices have been removed.

If you cannot access the app, email info@clutchdeveloper.com with the subject “Account deletion request.” This is a manual support request, not an automated web deletion form. A request is not confirmation that deletion has been completed; wait for a reply from support.

Payments and this website

In-app purchase and restore are not currently enabled in the app. This website does not collect payment details, provide a purchase flow, or use an analytics tag or third-party script.
